just thought I'd start a discussion on this.

I suggest we use a modular system with different stages like the one I have made for the recent google article which will make it easy for users to build on different stages of an article.

heres a list of wikis that we could try and start a news sharing arrangement with.

I've picked them as they have at least a few contributors and/or a news page. this means that we won't cannibalise their contributors and we can make their news process more effective helping out both wikis.

One of the greatest ideas I have ever heard, just need an okay from Master Jay. Tcrow777 Talk | Teklogs 00:22, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
The topics of the Sawfish and Delphi wikias are far from big technologies. The TIOBE Programming Community index ranks the popularity of Delphi as 11. I have never heard of the Sawfish window manager before and it seems to me that it was replaced with Metacity for the most part. If you think I am wrong and have evidence to back it up, please feel free to correct me. Tcrow777 Talk | Teklogs 21:31, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
Sure. Seems good. --Master Jay 22:02, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
I was basing it on the technology hub and how many articles they have. They both have news pages and active communities. At the very least we could suggest to them that they send us their news when it comes up as it would be content we don't have to create ourselves. If we introduce our wiki you may find out that some of their members may be interested in helping out a little bit. however since they are so specific it would be better if we could find some other wikis to work with. Was there anything wrong with the future wiki?

No problem with the Future wikia. Tcrow777 Talk | Teklogs 01:13, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
So this is what I think we should say in the future wiki forum
Hi I'm from the teklogs wiki. We're building a tech news site based on wikia. We're looking for users who can tip us off on news stories for us to write about.
we could also suggest exchanging help for news stories, but I think it's better not to while we're building up the wiki

I sent a message to the Future wikia. Tcrow777 Talk | Teklogs 02:37, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
